Additional Details:
The Echo SRM 225 Trimmer Head Replacement is suitable for Speed feed 400. The trimmer head adapter size is 10mm x 1.25mm LHF with a diameter of 3-3/4 inches, and uses .080" or .095" diameter line.
For models GT225, a 8mm x 3/8-24 RH Black Bolt is required. This item needs the adapter, and it does not fit the Echo 21560056 2-Line Rapid Loader. If your model number is not listed, you can match the existing mounting hardware with ECHO mounting studs and/or bushings to determine the correct parts needed.
Also, the Echo Speed Feed 400 Trimmer Head's Bushings Size are as follows: 8mm x 1.25mm LH Bushing (Red), 10mm x 1.0mm LH Bushing (Green), 10mm x 1.25mm LH Bushing (Gold), 10mm x 1.25 LH Long Bushing (Silver), 3/8-24 RH Bushing (Black), 7mm x 10mm (LH) Mounting Stud (Gold), 8mm x 10mm (LH) Mounting Stud (Silver), and 8mm x 3/8-24 (RH) Mounting Stud (Black).
The SRM 225 Trimmer Head is compatible with various Echo models and PAS-225 Trimmer Head is also compatible with specific Echo models.
Before installation, ensure that you have the correct bushing or bushing and mounting stud combination required for your model. After the installation, make sure the "R" mark is facing away from the bushing for RH units, and that the trimmer head halves snap together tightly.
For ECHO SRM models, there should be no gap between the spacer and line head after tightening, and do not force, otherwise, threads may strip and cause permanent damage.
